Your Big Day

Specialising only in weddings means I’m an expert in latest trends, old traditions and everything in between. Some couples come to me having known since they were three what their dream wedding looks like. Others have no fixed ideas other than to get married and have a party with their chosen community.

Wherever you are on the Big Day spectrum, I can guide you as little or as much as you want (I can even give tips on how to involve your beloved pet). My one non-negotiable? That the day you want is the day you get. Together, we’ll deliver to your vision and values.

First steps working together

We get to know each other during an obligation free catch up, in person or on Zoom. We both need to know if we’re a good fit for your special day. I outline the full process in terms of paperwork and legalities, and we discuss an overview of your vision for the day.

If you choose to book me, we have a second meeting to tackle the paperwork and get a full briefing on your love story and talk through details including readings, poems and music. That forms the basis of the bespoke ceremony I write and edit with you, as many drafts until it is perfect.

At our final catch up, we go through final details ahead of the wedding and hold a rehearsal if you wish.

My personal promise is the process will be as easy as possible for you and it will be enjoyable. You’ll get to the wedding day feeling excited rather than stressed.

What is my celebrant style?

My style is contemporary, empathetic and elegant, with a dash of fun and optimism. As a celebrant, I draw on my life experiences and my ability to understand people’s wishes and translate them into fantastic occasions.

I create and direct ceremonies where things are lifted out of the ordinary by everyone feeling joyous and glad to be there. No detail is too big or too small, I’ll take your calls even in the wee hours and I promise to be a source of total calm during your busy wedding planning season.
